Kids can Eat Free in Lexington Ky

With the cost of living in Lexington, Kentucky gradually increasing, there is still ways families with children can save money. Many families take advantage of dining out at restaurants where their children can eat for free. This is a great way to treat the entire family by going out to eat as well as making it easy for those who live on a tight budget.

There are plenty of restaurants in Lexington, Kentucky that participate in kids eat free special. There is a restaurant for almost each day of the week if you know where to go. However, there are plenty of choices to choose from when it comes to Tuesdays. Even with that being said, it is nice to know that there is generally some place to dine out that is easy on the budget for any day of the week.

Texas Roadhouse  (Mondays)

On Mondays, parents can save some money when dining out at Texas Roadhouse. Every Monday kids 12 years of age or younger get to eat free from the kids’ menu with the purchase of a regular adult meal. Texas Roadhouse is located at 3029 Richmond Road.

Applebee’s  (Tuesdays)

Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar and Grill help parents’ budgets every Tuesday night. There are three locations in Lexington, KY that allow kids 12 years and younger to eat free from the kids’ menu on Tuesday nights, with the purchase of an adult meal. These locations include 4009 Nicholasville Road suite B, 2299 Richmond Road, and 1761 Sharkey Way.

Moe’s Southwest Grill  (Tuesdays)

Bring the kids out to Moe’s any time during operating hours on Tuesdays and they will get to eat free from the kids’ menu. In order to qualify for the kids eat free special, it must be accompanied with the purchase of an adult entrée with a side and a drink. Moe’s Southwest Grill is located at 535 South Upper Street, suite 145 and at 2304 Sir Barton Way, suite 185.

Chick-fil-a (Tuesdays, Thursdays)

Chick-fil-a has several locations in Lexington, Kentucky but only two locations have an evening where kids eat free. The Chick-fil-a location at 2025 Harrodsburg Road has this deal on Tuesday nights and the Chick-fil-a location at 2514 Nicholasville Road has this deal on Thursday nights. On these nights between 5:30pm to 7:00pm, kids receive a free meal with an adult purchase. The manager of the Harrodsburg Road location fondly teased that when it comes to the age restriction of the child, they certainly don’t card them. However, he wants you to keep in mind that if kid’s meal is clearly ordered for an adult this special doesn’t apply.

Denny’s  (Tuesdays, Saturdays)

Kids 10 years old and under also eat free on Tuesdays and Saturdays at Denny’s from 4:00pm to 10:00p. Kids must order from the kids menu and it is only free with an adult purchase. There are two Denny’s locations in Lexington. One is located at 1949 Nicholasville Road and the other location is at 1880 Newton Pike.

Carino’s Italian Grill (Thursdays)

With two locations to serve you, Carino’s Italian Grill is located at 135 Rojay Drive and 2333 Sir Barton Way. They allow kids 12 years and younger to eat free all day on Thursdays. They have to order from the kids’ menu with the purchase of an adult meal in order to eat free.

IHOP  (Fridays)

Located at 2306 Palumbo Drive, IHOP allows kids to eat free, with an adult purchase, from 4:00pm to 10:00pm on Fridays. This applies for kids under the age of 12 years old and they must order from the kids’ menu. Some of the menu items include Funny Face pancake, Rooty Jr., Silver Five, and Baby Cakes just to name a few.

Hooters (Saturdays)

All day Saturday, Hooters has children eat free from the kids’ menu. According to the manager, this special applies for up to two kids per adult who orders a regular meal. Hooters is located at 3101 Richmond Road suite 315.

Zaxby’s (Saturdays, Sundays)

There are three Zaxby’s locations in Lexington, KY. These are located at 1772 Sharkey Way, 104 Sand Lake Drive, and 531 W New Circle Road. Kids can eat free from the kids’ menu with the purchase of an adult meal. This has to be dine-in only and this special lasts all day on Saturday and Sundays.

All of these restaurants require an adult meal purchase. Most restaurants that offer “kids eat free” deals generally require the kids to order from the kids’ menu.
