Fun Things in Indianapolis

Finding things to do during the winter months can be frustrating. Especially in a town that sees snow on a regular basis. But, if you know where to look you can always find something fun to do on a cold winter day. Near Christmas time especially there is always the option to walk around downtown and look at the Christmas tree lightening ceremony.

Or you can always visit a local ice rink and have some family fun ice skating. And if ice skating isn’t your thing you can always go regular roller skating. Let your child learn how archeologist’s dig up dinosaur bones at the Children’s Museum or go to the Zoo and get a look at the Winter animals. And when you become tired of exploring all the things the museum has to offer take a ride on the Caroseoul inside the museum. One dollar will get you a ride. The carosuel is also wheel chain accessable so noone will get left out. If you become hungry while visiting the museum you will not have to leave. The museum has it’s own resturaunt so that you can eat and ten go back for more. Parking at the Children’s musuem is also free. They also have a gift shop where you can purchase educational and fun gifts for your child to play with.
