Budget Friendly Entertainment in Cocoa Florida

Families with children are finding it more and more difficult to find ways to entertain children, and still stay on a budget. Cocoa Florida has some very budget friendly events and locations that will please the entire family.

Cocoa Village hosts a free movie in the park once a month. Bring your blanket and enjoy the movie. The movies are all rated for family and are totally free. You can access the calendar by going to: http://www.cocoafl.org/ then click on about Cocoa. Choose attractions from the drop down menu. Then select the movie that interests you and have a fun evening.

Also free are concerts in the amphitheater in the park, and in the gazebo. Check the calendar in the Cocoa Florida website mentioned above to see who is playing and when.

The Cocoa public library carries over 24000 music cd’s and movies which are always free so long as you have a library card. Plan a nice evening at home with popcorn and some free movies for the whole family.

The library also hosts story time for the younger set, with guest readers. You can check the calendar, and then plan a day at the library where the kids are entertained while you enjoy browsing the books. Story time is free as well. http://www.mylibraryworld.com/pages/visit_your_library/melbourne_mlk/monthly.php
